Ambassador of Israel to the USA Makes Historic Visit to Chabad of Mineola NY
Last night Wednesday evening Chabad of Mineola, led by Rabbi Anchelle Perl, hosted Israel’s Ambassador to the USA, Dr Michael B. Oren.
More than 300 distinguished leaders of the Jewish community on Long Island gathered for this private briefing with the Ambassador.
Dr Oren spoke at length and in great detail on all the persisting issues facing Israel today and provided many behind the scene details on the current relations with Washington, Iran’s nuclear threat and efforts to mend fences with Turkey.
The Ambassador, who was joined by his wife Sally, made a great Kiddush Hashem as he spoke glowingly of the future of the Land of Israel because of our faith in Hashem.
During the Q&A session the issue of the rampant Anti-Israel propaganda on American Campus’s was discussed. Dr Oren’s response was quick to praise the amazing important presence of Chabad on Campus across the country, making special mention of Chabad at Yale and Harvard where he has been a visiting professor.
