Chabad of Mineola, led by Rabbi Anchelle Perl, is inviting all Long Island Leaders and the community to submit messages of comfort and condolence to be published in a special ‘Book of Condolences’ to be presented to the grieving parents and families of Naphtali Frenkel, 16, Gilad Shaar, 16 and Eyal Yifach, 19.

The past eighteen days have been difficult for the Jewish community on Long Island, the world over and for all peace loving people.

We had been pinned to any scrap of news coming out of Israel, praying, saying psalms and simultaneously trying to go on with life. Now that the hope for a miracle has been dashed, numbness has set in.

This is the root of this tragedy. Terrorists are well aware of a unique Jewish “weakness”—our fanatical obsession with the value of a single life. For we truly believe that everyone, every human being is created equally in the image of G‑d.

During these troubling times an extra act of goodness and kindness will certainly assist in healing and uplifting the spirits of the grieving parents of Naftali Frenkel, 16, Gilad Shaar, 16 and Eyal Yifach, 19.

Therefore in the spirit of caring we are immediately publishing a “Special Journal of Condolence” to be presented to the brokenhearted families in Israel.

We invite you to send us today a letter or note of sympathy and comfort to be included in this “Special Journal of Condolence” to be presented to the families sitting Shiva in Israel in the next few days.
Email us here or simply send us a letter to Chabad of Mineola POB 1597 Mineola NY 11501

Thank you for this consideration in an effort to uplift grieving hearts here in the United States of America and in Israel.
